Santa's Favorite Recipes: Yuletide Drops Cookies
Ingredients

cup butter or margarine, softened

cup sugar

eggs
1/4
dairy sour cream

1/4 cups all-purpose flour

teaspoon baking soda
1/2
teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4
teaspoon salt
1/4
teaspoon ground cloves
1
cup quick-cooking rolled oats
1
cup chopped pecans or walnuts
1
cup pitted dates, finely snipped
1/2
cup raisins
1
cup chopped candied cherries

Cream together butter or margarine, sugar and eggs until fluffy; blend in sour cream. Stir together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, salt and cloves; stir into creamed mixture. Add oats, chopped nuts, snipped dates, raisin and chopped candied cherries. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonful 2" apart on lightly greased baking sheet. Top each cookies with half of a candied cherry. Bake in 350 degree oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
