New Year's Traditional Recipes: Boiled Cabbage

Ingredients 1
large head cabbage
Quarter cabbage; discard the hard center section. Place into heavy pot and add sufficient water or chicken broth to cover cabbage. Add remaining ingredients. Cover tightly and boil until cabbage is tender, but firm. This is wonderful served with cornbread. |
